Erin Nowak is an American artist based in Moorestown, NJ. Her photography is focused on relationships, specifically those that explore human activities on the environmental features of the Mid-Atlantic topographical and cultural landscapes.
Erin has received numerous awards including: Photolucida, Critical Mass Finalist (2023); the 20th Julia Margaret Cameron Award, Storytelling, Honorable Mention (2023); the 2023 Santa Fe Review 100; Third Place for self-published book, Colors, by the International Photography Awards (2019) as well as two Honorable Mentions for her series Taking Flight (2019) also by the International Photography Awards.
She is a 2022 Puffin Foundation grantee. She received a 2021 Individual Artist Fellowship from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. An internationally exhibited photographer, Erin’s work resides in the permanent collections at Penn Medicine Radnor, PA; Penn Medicine Cherry Hill, NJ; and in private collections throughout the United States.
